What is Sapphire Glass?

What is Sapphire Glass?
A transparent nano-crystalline glass.

Features: Billions of nanocrystals, solid stress layer, high transparency, high toughness, Mohs hardness 8 (Just Like Sapphire, so people call it Sapphire Glass).

Advantages: high hardness, excellent optical performance, high safety (failure fragment safety)

  • 10 times better drop resistance than traditional electronic glass
  • Excellent optical performance, Through B value ≤ 0.6,Low haze/high transmission
  • Good 3D adaptability,3D hot bending temperature is less than 800°C, matching mainstream machines
  • High safety, high intrinsic strength, "safe" failure fragments

    Sapphire Glass Properties
  • Low thermal expansion coefficient: The thermal expansion coefficient of glass-ceramics is extremely low, almost zero, so it has excellent thermal shock resistance and can withstand large temperature differences.
  • High mechanical strength: Crystallized glass has high mechanical strength, can withstand greater pressure and impact, and is not easily broken.
  • Good chemical stability: Crystallized glass has excellent chemical stability, can resist the erosion of various chemical substances, and is suitable for various environmental conditions.
  • Good electrical insulation properties: Crystallized glass has good electrical insulation properties and can be used to manufacture substrates and casings of electronic devices.
  • Non-staining and easy to clean: The surface of crystallized glass is smooth, not easy to stain and easy to clean.
  • Excellent optical properties: Crystallized glass has excellent optical properties, can transmit visible light, has a high refractive index and low reflectivity, and can be used to manufacture optical devices and decorations.
  • Strong processability: Crystallized glass can be processed into cutting, grinding, drilling, polishing and other processing operations, and can be easily processed into products of various shapes and sizes.
